I grew up with a passion for the written word. I would spend hours reading, and quickly found I loved creating tales. Darkest Light was born when I was 13, and I worked and crafted my story for years, knowing my ultimate dream was to share my stories with the world.

My family, particularly my parents and husband, encouraged me to publish my stories, and I finally decided to pursue my career as an indie author in 2014. Darkest Light was published in 2015, and I gained the confidence to continue sharing my stories while also earning my Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Creative Writing.

Shortly after, God placed a story in my heart, and I shifted my focus. What was originally a Christian romantic suspense trilogy morphed into the You and Me series.

When I am not writing, my husband and I run a homestead with our four kids, more chickens than we can count, goats, pigs, turkeys, ducks, and our five cats and two dogs.
